PROJECT DETAILS
Main aim is to increase the capacity of the unit from 750 m3/hr to 1000 m3/hr with also remarkable energy efficiency
improvements. It is a major revamp project with an investment cost of around 75-80 M$ and is expected to return around 40 Gcal/hr energy saving and 19.5 M$/year.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Replacement of all existing furnaces with new ones which are compatible with new capacity
- Modification of the internals for all columns of the unit
- Modification in heat exchangers and addition of new heat exchangers to the heating train
- Modification in piping of the unit and additional required piping studies
- Required process, instrumentation, electric and civil studies for the above explained aim
- For this project, laser scanning is utilized, and 3D modelling of the unit is performed by Tekfen Engineering.
- All technical procurement work and vendor follow up for Heaters, Towers, Exchangers, Air Cooler, Pumps, Vessels and etc. is also handled.
- Constructability of the structure is planned to allow minimum turn around period requirement.

CONFIGURATION OF THE PROJECT
- Three new heaters with common APH are procured in the scope of project;
-Crude Heater
-Crude Reboiler Heater
-Naptha Reboiler Heater
- A complete new structure is designed for new equipments. In this structure;
-New Flash Drum
-4 S&T Exchangers
-10 Plate Type Exchangers
-Related piping and cranes
