PROJECT DETAILS

The main purpose of the Residuum Upgrading Project (RUP) is to build units that process fuel oil and residue to convert it to valuable products. With the completion of the RUP, TUPRAS will process 4.200.000 tons high sulfur fuel oil

to produce:

  • 3.500.000 ton valuable, high quality white products (diesel, jet fuel, gasoline and LPG) in EURO V standards,
  • 690.000 tons petroleum coke
  • 86.000 tons Sulphur

Engineering:

  • Detail design of 4 substations and 2 service buildings
  • Workshop drawings for 25.000 tons of steel works
  • Detail design of equipment foundations 
  • Basic and detail design of main stack (height= 95 m)
  • Detail design of miscellaneous structures
  • Field engineering services

Manufacturing:

  • 3 Reactors (ALLOY)
  • 78 Columns + Vessels for (HIC + CLAD)
  • Air Cooler Bundle Repairs

Construction:

  • Civil Works HVAC System
  • Steel Structure Engineering
  • Supply and Erection
  • Mechanical Erection
