PROJECT DESCRIPTION
TurkStream is a landmark project which provides energy security to Turkey, South and Southeastern Europe. The purpose of this project is to open an energy corridor
to Europe for Russian natural gas with 2 lines each carrying delivery capacity of 15.7 billion m³ natural gas from
Russia to Turkey. (total delivery capacity of 31.5 billion m³).
SCOPE OF WORK
TEKFEN has been awarded for TurkStream Receiving Terminal Project, Turkey’s main onshore section as being one of the most geostrategic distribution hubs for global energy networks.
- TEKFEN Construction’s scope of work covered construction of external Road Works, Receiving Terminal (Civil, Mechanical, E&I and pre-commissioning works) and Pipeline (2X1,8 Km) where one of the 2 underground onshore pipelines will connect to existing Turkish gas network; the other will be connected to Turkish-European network.
