Detail Engineering recently awarded to TEKFEN Engineering. Similar scope with TUPRAS Izmit FCC Revamp Project. Modernization of the unit with major modifications in;

• Reactor and Regenerator Section
• Main Column Section
• Gas Concentration Section

Basic Engineering is performed by UOP. Detail Engineering is being performed by TEKFEN Engineering. A service agreement is signed between UOP & TEKFEN for some specific activities such as stress analysis for critical lines, detail mechanical

drawings, etc…

Project commenced in September 2017. First activities were as built studies and combination of UOP P&IDs with existing unit P&IDs. Equipment Procurement activities will also be started in parallel.

Main difference with Izmit FCC Revamp Project is that there are two separate structures for reactor and equipment on flue gas line.
